A Farewell from the XLR8 Team

Ten years ago, XLR8 came to life and began its journey. Initially focused on outsourcing services, we moved forward to achieve our dream: to create an accessible and efficient RMS tailored to the needs of the Portuguese market. At the time, RMS solutions were perceived as tools exclusive to large chains, but we wanted to change that paradigm. Thus, we developed the first RMS designed specifically for Domestic Hotel Groups and Independent Hotels, drawing from the experience of our team of Revenue Managers who lived the day-to-day realities of hotels.

Over the years, this vision became a reality thanks to our clients' trust, our partners' support, and our team's dedication. Our work transformed revenue management into a more strategic concept, helping hotels of all sizes increase their revenue and make more assertive decisions.

Today, we have reached a turning point: the closure of this project, which for us has always been much more than just a company. We carry with us the pride of a decade filled with achievements, such as strengthening the culture of Revenue Management in Portugal, hosting dozens of training sessions with hundreds of participants, winning the ADHP award for "Best Business Partner" in 2023, receiving nominations for hotel management software awards, and the success of the Global Revenue Forum 2024, the largest Revenue Management event in Portugal.

XLR8 was only possible thanks to the dedication of everyone in this journey. Our team, our clients, our partners, and everyone who believed in our work. Together, we redefined standards, overcame challenges, and contributed to the growth of this sector.

Although this chapter comes to an end, we believe the impact of XLR8 will continue to inspire the market.
